Linda Smith
Linda brings a wonderfully varied background to her role, with experience spanning bookkeeping, shipping and imports and exports, stock control, and most recently, learning and development. That breadth means she’s equally at home with the detail and the bigger picture.
She joins the team as wing woman to Sean, where she’s already bringing much-needed order to a busy and pressurised schedule, and her support extends to Jackie too, making her a real asset across the team. A fun fact about this is that she and Jackie go back across three previous roles, so the rapport and trust are already well and truly there!
What excites her most about this new chapter is the variety, with fingers in many aspects of the business, no two days are likely to look the same, and that suits her just fine.
Unexpected hobby or side obsession:
I am in a committed relationship with Watercolour painting – I love watching the pigments flow and am currently a massive fan of Payne’s grey and Quinacradone Gold – they burst into life on the paper. No skill required on my part!
Secret talent totally unrelated to work
Feeding my favorite people. I experiment with complex Indian curries and traditional Cape Malay cuisine but also love fresh Mediterranean dishes.

Which movie or TV show’s house or interior style do you love
Liz’s House from Shrinking – it is classic and homely but still luxurious. The kitchen counters are amazing and I would love an island like that to socialise at while whipping up something delicious to eat.

I have an Epic Personal playlist Pete compiled for me with over 10000 songs from my favourite singer/songwriters and indie artists like King Creosote, Robert Plant, Ron Sexsmith, indie bands like James, Eels, SeaPower, Arcade Fire, Half Moon Run, Lord Huron and some classic rock like Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fleetwood Mac etc etc – not enough space to list them all!
