A House with a Black Trim

Modern Ground Floor Extension & Kitchen in Walthamstow

Borough: Waltham Forest

Service: Design and Build

With elegant black accents throughout, ranging from exposed beams and black timber on the rear façade to the intricate details of handles and bathroom finishes, it’s easy to see how this attention to detail earned this home it’s name – A House with a Black Trim.

We were commissioned to handle the design and construction of this East London project, where we carried out a full ground floor extension to create a spacious, bright, sleek, and minimalist kitchen and dining area, complete with a cosy reading nook. The result is a stunning space ideal for both entertaining and relaxation, featuring exquisite bespoke joinery throughout. We love how the rear façade beautifully blends the area’s characteristic yellow brick with the black timber on the extension, creating a flowing indoor-outdoor connection.
