A Flat with a Wraparound Wardrobe

Borough: Kensington and Chelsea

Service: Design

We were tasked with redesigning this elegant apartment close to Portobello Road Market. The pivotal design element that unlocked the double-aspect living and kitchen area was a compact utility zone, thoughtfully nestled between a bedroom, featuring a walk-through wardrobe and a spacious en-suite.

The kitchen, with bespoke joinery comprising of whitewashed plywood, provides a clean yet textured finish. The design aesthetic for this project embraced a simple palette of materials: white walls paired with timber, concrete tiles and screed and a vibrant splash of bright yellow adds a unique flair to this light-flooded space.
